Events

As part of our annual work programme, we host a series of closed meetings for our network of local authorities, as well as our not-to-be-missed annual conference.
Our conferences bring together audiences from across the country, composed on local authorities, public health professionals, academics, the third sector, NHS, Government departments and more. The Food Active conference has also welcomed an impressive line-up of speakers over the years, including the likes of Professor Corinna Hawkes (City, University of London), Professor Simon Capewell (University of Liverpool), Dr Stuart Flint (University of Leeds), Professor Sadaf Farooqi (University of Cambridge), Alison Cox (Cancer Research UK), Jamie Blackshaw (Public Health England), Dr. Emma Boyland (University of Liverpool) and many more.
Each year taking on a different theme, the Food Active conference aims to bring together professionals to discuss the latest evidence, showcase best practice, discuss solutions to challenges and provide an opportunity for networking.
