18 Nov 2025 Food Active 2025 conference: Recording, speaker presentations and new resources now available
On Tuesday 11th November, we welcomed just under 200 delegates and fantastic speakers to the Food Active annual conference, ‘A decade of action: The Healthy Weight Declaration after ten years’.
Chaired by Food Active’s Lead Director of Public Health and Director of Public Health at Liverpool City Council, Professor Matthew Ashton, the conference brought together national partners, local authorities and system leaders, NHS partners and ICS colleagues, academics, VCFSE organisations and more, to reflect on the evolution of the Healthy Weight Declaration declaration over the past decade, and discuss how to tackle commercial influences on health through local and regional action.
