11 Oct 2017 Food Active Event Report: Healthy Weight in all Policies
Food Active recently hosted ‘Healthy Weight in all Policies’ at the Mechanics Institute, Manchester. Over 80 delegates from academia, local authorities and the third sector across the North West registered to the event, with 65 in attendance on the day.
The ‘Healthy Weight in all Policies’ event provided the opportunity for delegates to expand their knowledge and understanding around approaches to healthy weights and showcased some of the fantastic work being carried out by local authority stakeholders. The event gained significant social media coverage through twitter and The European Public Health Alliance has also published an article on the event, which can be found here.
