Emily has a Masters (MA) in Design from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Barcelona, and a Bachelors (BA) in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Newcastle.

Emily has diverse experience, having previously worked developing community spaces which focus on developmental learning with neighbourhoods in the realm of food sustainability. She has also worked in communications for research and innovation projects at a design centre. Her work and interests are specialised in connecting citizens to healthy and local food environments, culture, and community.
