Richard Glendinning is an experienced social researcher who has been associated with the Health Equalities Group since the launch of Heart of Mersey in 2003, when he helped evaluate the impact of the first campaign.

Since then he has continued to support the organisation through involvement in committees and events and in specific projects such as the discovery phase of the Childhood Obesity trailblazer programme in Pennine Lancashire. He is currently part of the team that is developing the Prevention Pledge for C&M Health and Care Partnership, leading on consultation and workshops. Richard’s wider experience is focussed on design and delivery of quantitative research, notably in the area of public health where his work has addressed tobacco control, physical activity, lifestyles, diet, access to services and cancer symptoms.
