There is just now one week to go until we welcome +100 delegates in person at the Museum of Liverpool, and over 200 virtually to the #FoodActive2023 conference!
Held at the beautiful Museum of Liverpool on Wednesday 22nd November, ’10 Years of Food Active: Reflecting on Local and National Action’ will together a wide range of stakeholders to reflect on how the national landscape on healthy weight policy has changed and to consider opportunities both regionally and nationally to bolster existing policy, as we both mark the 10th anniversary of the Food Active programma and approach the forthcoming General Election.
Chaired by Food Active’s Lead Director of Public Health and Director of Public Health at Liverpool City Council, Professor Matthew Ashton, the conference will also aim to reinforce the importance of local action on promoting healthier weight, in addition to sharing good practice from across the North West.
To mark one week to go, we have published the conference agenda which is jam-packed with a fantastic line up of speakers and interesting discussions.
