Today Food Active has published three new position statements, to mark the #FoodActive2018 Conference ‘Childhood Obesity: Let’s Start at the Very Beginning’ held today in Manchester.
The conference is being held in response to the lack of recognition preconception, pregnancy and the early years received in the latest Childhood Obesity Plan, published back in June 2018. Our latest position statements will discuss healthy weight from preconception to preschool by framing the issue at a national and North West level, provide a brief review of the evidence, current policy context and our position/action on the matter
