With the publication of the government’s Childhood Obesity Strategy on the horizon and in light of recent publications including the PHE evidence report on sugar reduction and the Health Select Committee Inquiry report ‘Brave and Bold Action’ you may be struggling to digest all of this new information – but we can help!

The purpose of the day is to provide delegates from across the North West region and beyond with an opportunity to review and consider local plans and priorities that address the new strategy and promote healthy weight.

This event follows on from the national Sustainable Food Cities conference which is also being held in Liverpool on 22nd March.

Who should attend?

Local Authority Councillors, CCG’s, NHS Trusts, Academia, Third Sector Organisations and Officers and members of the public with an interest in healthy weight.

For example: Consultants in Public Health, Health Improvement Practitioners, Planners, Trading Standards & Environmental Health Officers, Schools Improvement Teams, Catering Managers etc.
