Food Active have launched their new ‘What Works Well?’ briefing paper series! First up is ‘Increasing Access to Healthy Food’, which presents various policies, schemes and initiatives across the UK which are designed to increase access to healthier food for local communities and highlight any evidence of impact or evaluation. 

This briefing paper includes an overview of the current evidence base, national and local policy landscape, evidence of ‘what works well’ and finally concludes with a series of recommendations for local and national government.
